The seeds are specially selected by the Cenicafé laboratory of the National Federation of Coffee Growers FNC. From them, the nursery was developed on the Villa Patricia farm.

The seeds are sown in sand paddocks where they germinate and the “chapolas” grow until they are ready for transplanting and bagging.

Sow the plants

Plants are planted after 3 months of growth in the bags and they are taken to the lot where the land has been previously fertilized and prepared to receive the new plant.

The first selection of cherries is made directly by hand carefully by previously trained personnel to collect only the red cherry.

Once the red cherry has been selected twice, it is taken to decherish in pulping machines to release the parchment.
